We are currently looking for a permanent OR part time GP to work in our busy medical Centre alongside our competent and experienced team.
In addition to the GP role, the practice is staffed with a nurse practitioner, practice nurses, practice manager and administration staff.
Two district nurses are also employed separately by the practice to provide secondary care to the community.
An accommodation package can be provided if required.
The salary package is dependent on experience.
A full-time or part-time role can be considered
After-hours work is also negotiable

We have an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Manager to lead the team and the practice on the next stage of its journey. Roxburgh Medical Services is community owned and provides healthcare to the Teviot Valley to approximately 1400 enrolled patients.
As Practice Manager, you will have excellent people skills and the ability to think strategically. You’ll need to be a self-starter, highly organised, and a forward planner. We require a proactive, solutions-based, confident person who enjoys using their initiative.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for the overall running of the practice, playing a key role in managing internal and external relationships, maintaining a high level of patient service and all facets of staff management, compliance, facilities and general management.
You will be responsible for the day to day functions of our business, which means your responsibilities will cover a wide range of tasks, including, but not limited to:
• HR management including leadership, recruitment, employment, training, performance, staff rosters
• Compliance (health and safety, risk management and Privacy Act)
• Administration of government funding, claims and reporting • Accounting functions – Debtors and payroll
• Meetings - Directors & Nurse meetings
• Contracts management and reporting with providers ie, DHB. PHO

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, energetic Nurse Practitioner to join our general practice team . Experience in primary care is preferred but not essential.
There is also an opportunity for this person to take part in the PRIME / After Hours roster. PRIME training can be facilitated to fulfil this role if required. Hours can be negotiated to suit the successful applicant.
